Rebekah has worked in the live events sector for over 10 years, specifically involving herself within large scale outdoor productions such as, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Glastonbury Festival, Oxford St Christmas Lights and multiple live events on Regent Street including NFL. More recently she has been involved in ceremonial event sites, with the likes of the Russian Winter Olympic & Paralympic Games, the Baku 2015 European Games and Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games in Azerbaijan.
With a background in Art & Design, Rebekah has the unique ability to be both creative and practical; grasping hold of creative concepts and enabling & producing their outcomes. Her knowledge in production, operations and site management and her training in risk & crisis management, means her care and attention to detail from the beginning, is paramount. Her adventurous nature, value for people and strong integrity means her production skills are continuously in demand.
Since joining Wonder Works in 2018 Rebekah has been instrumental in delivering a diverse range of events. From being the Technical Production Manager of an immersive woodland themed party for one of the top law firms in the UK, to the Technical Producer of the Opening events for Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture. Rebekah’s enthusiasm and creativity in her technical problem solving and scheduling are renowned. Currently Rebekah is mainly production managing projects in the Middle East.
Rebekah has presented in schools, inspiring the future generation of young women as they contemplate what path they might take.
Recently Rebekah has been part of the cohort Sustainability in Production Alliance (SIPA) as they look to find ways to give the industry more long term viability.
Feeling a strong sense of community she has been instrumental in organising social events within the industry.
